The University Ombuds Office Our main entrance is in Porthole Alley (see map below). Access for persons with disabilities is through the Franklin Street entrance. Office hoursMonday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and by appointment at other times if necessary. An appointment may be made during regular office hours and will be counted as “work time” as long as the employee notifies his or her supervisor in advance of the need for time to visit the Ombuds Office. An appointment may be made outside the employee’s regular work hours with no need to notify the supervisor. We are willing to meet people at other locations on or off campus.
